On Freedom of Thought and Inquiry
The Ikoku Philanthropies is committed to fostering knowledge, inquiry and self-examination in spaces that ensure freedom, privacy and respect for others.
Therefore, persons engaged in activity within, for, on behalf of, in reference to and otherwise pertaining to The Ikoku Philanthropies are expected to uphold the following:
Freedoms of Inquiry
— that the freedoms of persons to inquiry — as they pertain to knowledge and its application — be fulfilled, fully enjoyed, protected and neither interfered with nor diminished.
Freedoms of Self-Examination and Self-Expression
— that the freedoms of persons to self-examination and self-expression — as they pertain to mind, body, spirit, surroundings and society — be fulfilled, fully enjoyed, protected and neither interfered with nor diminished.
Freedoms of Privacy
— that The Ikoku Philanthropies ensure the above freedoms via protections for privacy, including providing for absolute rights to private conversation and to private thought.
Private, Public and Published Speech
— that The Ikoku Philanthropies respectfully recognize distinctions between private thought, private conversation and public and published expression and speech.
— that such respectful recognition ensure the absolute rights to privacy, meaningful expectations of privacy, and rights of revocable consent when making matters of the above freedoms public or published.
Accordance with Ethics
— that The Ikoku Philanthropies ensure pursuing, obtaining and enjoying the above freedoms further remains in accordance with the Codes and Policies and especially the Founding and Governing Code of Ethics.
Central and Associated Policies
As stated earlier, The Ikoku Philanthropies User Agreement and Code of Conduct consist of several Codes and Policies that collectively govern all of your activity with, within, for or pertaining to The Ikoku Philanthropies (as well as its series, subsidiaries and affiliates). By continuing, you indicate that you understand that these Codes and Policies include — but are not limited to — the Founding and Governing Code of Ethics, the Policy on Privacy and Confidentiality, the Terms and Conditions of Use and Service, and the Acceptable Use Policy along with all Associated Codes and Policies.
