The verses of The Dedida Sancta consist of the five dedications below.

Verses
On | Waking
1
As I wake to a day still nascent, I take a
moment to acknowledge — with genuine
gratitude and humility — the sacred
4humanity of each human being as-is, including myself
5and all others, equally, fully and reciprocally. Knowing,
6as part of my rising faith, of this innate and sacred
7humanity, I shall accord myself and others a deep and
8abiding respect for inner being, body and brain, as well
9as inner self, soul and spirit — including consciousness,
10conscience and consent. It is a respect that our common
11humanness deserves, dignifies and does commensurate
12good in eliciting, in every self and society, awakening
13equanimity among, around and within us, in ecologies
14as well as our environs.
On | Morning
2
As the sun rises in a lifting light, I pause
momentarily to acknowledge — again with
gratitude, humility — the day’s surroundings
4coming into view as well as its people, many of whom
5I will come to meet. Knowing, as part of a clarifying faith,
6that our sacred humanity as-is is innately equal, full and
7reciprocal, I shall greet myself and others with respect for
8inner being, body and brain, as well as inner self, soul and
9spirit — including consciousness, conscience and consent.
10It is a respect that we, as common humans, deserve and
11do good in extending, like a sun in gradual ascent, imbuing
12each self and society with eventual equanimity — among,
13around, within us, in ecologies as well as our environs.
On | Midday
3
As the sun peaks, its light fully aloft, I
pause briefly to acknowledge — again
with gratitude, humility — the day yet to
4unfold and people I have met, have yet to meet, our day
5only half complete. Knowing, as part of my fortifying
6faith, that our sacred humanity as-is is equal, full and
7reciprocal, I shall continue to treat myself and others
8with respect for inner being, body and brain, as well as
9inner self, soul and spirit — including consciousness,
10conscience and consent. It is a respect that has already
11made itself known as an essential benefit, one we, as
12common humans, deserve and do good in providing
13to every self and society, sustaining, like the sun’s light,
14equanimity within us, our ecologies, our environs.
On | Evening
4
As the sun sets, its rays at near rest, I
pause calmly to acknowledge — again
with gratitude, humility — the enfolding
4day, the people I have met, have still to meet, our day
5not yet complete. Knowing, as part of my restful faith,
6that our sacred humanity as-is is equal, full, reciprocal,
7I shall continue to grace myself and others with respect
8for inner being, body and brain, as well as inner self,
9 soul and spirit — including consciousness, conscience
10and consent. It has proven to be a most humane form
11of respect, one we, as common humans, deserve and
12do good in offering to every self and society, like the
13peace of the evening sun, setting down the day’s work,
13while radiating equanimity from within, to our environs.
On | Night
5
As night falls and other orbs light the
dark, I pause, finally, to acknowledge
— with the gratitude and humility I had
4on rising — a day newly ending, refolding its materials,
5matters and members about me. Knowing, as part of
6a grounding faith, that our sacred humanity as-is is
7equal, full and reciprocal, I shall comfort myself and
8others with purest respect for inner being, body and
9brain, as well as inner self, soul and spirit — including
10consciousness, conscience and consent. For the day
11has once again taught me to observe and wonder at
12such humanity, to see in my common beings, in each
13self, society, surrounding, life’s movement and motion,
14uniting us in enduring equanimity, here and elsewhere.
On the Dedida
On | Genesis
The Dedida Sancta are a set of dedications in Sancthụmanism that Alvan Azinna Chibuzo Ikoku, the sole Founder, Member, and Presiding Officer of Humana Sancta, offers daily. They are an essential part of his practice of faith; they serve, too, as articles and tenets of faith.

On | General
The general public may, in the meantime, recite any part of The Dedida, though only for personally and individually spiritual purposes. Doing so does not confer admission into Humana Sancta or rights to any of its properties or uses.
On | Respect
Please do respect the belief, faith, and spiritual practice of Alvan Azinna Chibuzo Ikoku, the Founder, Member and Presiding Officer of Humana Sancta and of Sancthụmanism, the sole Humana Sancta faith.
